Hello there!
I’m Maria Viteri, a designer, illustrator and surface pattern designer with roots stretching from beautiful Guatemala City to the lively landscapes of New Orleans, where I currently call home with my husband and three kids
I have a passion for art, color and nature. Guatemalan culture and history inspires me and the lively and unique culture of the place I call home, New Orleans, captured my heart and added yet another layer of vibrance to my art.
I love spending time in my home studio working on designs and planning out collections or working with clients to come up with the perfect design for their product. You can also find me in my backyard sitting underneath our 450 year old live oak, working on my laptop or IPad and drawing inspiration from the nature around me while listening to a good podcast or audiobook.
When I’m not working, I’m usually chasing after my three kids, laughing at their silly jokes, enjoying as many snuggles as I can get or bribing them to do their homework (sometimes you just have to do it) and enjoying our backyard or a good movie with my husband. You’ll also find me volunteering at my kid’s school or finding new places to visit in New Orleans to immerse myself in Louisiana culture and counting the days until the start of Mardi Gras season.
